RIDE is committed to giving every student the opportunity to receive equine-assisted therapy in our therapeutic horsemanship program. We know that medical bills skyrocket when special needs are present and that many times insurance will not pay for surgeries or even wheelchairs that will help those with disabilities. Because of our commitment, our students pay only 24% of the actual cost of lessons.
Your money helps maintain our 10-acre ranch as well as helps to feed, shoe, and care for our 20 therapy horses. You also help to pay our therapeutic riding instructors and allow over 200 disabled children and adults to receive life-changing therapy through RIDE.
There are many ways you can help RIDE and our special students. You can volunteer in lessons or at an event. You can also Adopt a Horse, Sponsor a Student, or be an Event Sponsor. You can even wear your support with RIDE Merchandise!

Ways to Help
Sponsor a Student
Lesson fees for each student are over $350 per year. The actual cost is 3 times that amount. Your generous donation gives our students the opportunity to receive this amazing therapy without a financial burden.
Sponsor A Horse
Does one of the RIDE horses hold a special place in your heart?
Show your love and support and sponsor a therapy horse! For $2000 a year, you can become the proud sponsor of a RIDE horse. You can even share a horse with another group or individual donor.
Come visit your special horse as often as you want – the more the better! Your sponsorship will cover the cost of feed, shoeing, and vet care and will help RIDE focus on its mission of helping our students ride strong.

Volunteer
Volunteers are the backbone of any therapeutic riding program, and RIDE has some of the best!
Without those dedicated people who come in all kinds of weather to help with horses and lessons and to offer their support and encouragement to the riders, the program would not be possible.
For this reason, RIDE relies on many volunteers each and every day.
Get Involved!
RIDE is always in need of volunteers! Whether you are a teenager fulfilling community service requirements for school or if you are retired and want to give back to the community…THE MORE THE MERRIER! Any and all animal lovers who just want to be near the horses are welcome to help at RIDE. Your commitment is vital to the success of the program, and we greatly appreciate your contribution.
What Do Volunteers Do?

Lead or side-walk with the horse for riders in the arena.

Prepare animals for lessons and clean up afterward.

Conduct fundraiser and/or public relations campaigns for the program.
Volunteer Qualifications

Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age.

All volunteers must attend a Volunteer Orientation, usually held in March and June.
